Because you deserve to live better.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and somatic awareness. EMDR is a highly researched and effective method that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity and fostering deeper healing.

I also consider the impact of family and relational dynamics, using a systems perspective to help clients build understanding, safety, and stronger connections. Healing from trauma takes courage, but it’s possible to find relief, regain balance, and reconnect with yourself and others.

You may be feeling overwhelmed. Like no matter what you do, the memories, tension, or sense of unease just won’t let up. Maybe you’re on edge, easily startled, or finding it hard to relax. Perhaps you feel numb or detached from the people you care about—or the past keeps intruding on your present through flashbacks, nightmares, or sudden waves of emotion. If you’re exhausted by the weight of trauma, distressing memories, or emotional disconnection, you are not alone.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families to navigate the effects of trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and emotional pain with compassion, skill, and clarity. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface—whether that’s unresolved grief, body-based reactions, or patterns that developed as a way to cope with overwhelming experiences.

A couple and their dog are outdoors near a body of water during sunset. The man is kneeling on one knee, wearing a white shirt and khaki pants, and is holding the dog's paw. The woman is wearing a white dress and is kneeling beside him. Both are smiling at the camera. There are trees and greenery in the background, and the sunlight is shining through the trees.

I believe that every individual and family brings unique strengths and resilience to the healing process, even when it doesn’t always feel that way. Together, we’ll uncover and build on these strengths—whether it’s your willingness to face difficult emotions, the deep love you have for one another, or the small acts of courage you show every day. My goal is to help you recognize and nurture these inner resources so you can navigate challenges with greater confidence and hope. Emphasizing strengths alongside growth helps create a balanced, empowering path toward lasting change.

The first step can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in your life or family, I’d love to help. Click the link below to schedule a free consultation—we’ll talk about what’s going on and see if we’re a good fit.
